Mochi cares, and knows when to point you to people who can help

Mochi is a friendly companion. It is not a therapist, a doctor or a crisis service. When someone shares something heavy, it stops joking and shows free helplines.

If you need to talk to someone now

These are free in India. If you are in danger right now, call 112.

How Mochi responds

  • Words about suicide or self-harm get a caring reply and the helplines above
  • Hopeless feelings like "what's the point" get a gentle reply and the helplines
  • Sadness gets a soft, quiet reply with no jokes
  • Harassment or abuse gets "I believe you", plus 112, 181 and your workplace POSH committee

What Mochi is not

Mochi does not diagnose, treat or monitor anyone. It does not contact anyone on your behalf and it does not send what you type anywhere. It is a small, kind nudge toward real help.

Every buddy uses the same careful words in these moments, whatever its personality.
