Made for people who forget to look after themselves at work

Why "Mochi"?

Mochi is the soft, round rice cake from Japan: squishy, sweet and comforting. That is exactly how we wanted a desk buddy to feel. So every buddy is a little mochi, each with its own flavour of personality.

Why a buddy?

Most of us spend the day staring at a screen, skipping water and holding our shoulders up near our ears. Reminder apps help for a week and then get ignored. A buddy is different. It is harder to ignore someone who is quietly pouting at you because you haven't had water since lunch.

So Mochi became a small, soft character instead of a notification. It lives at the bottom of the screen, reacts when you pet it, sleeps when you sleep and listens when work is heavy.

What we care about

• Kindness first. Mochi talks like a friend, never like a nagging app.
• Your secrets are safe. What you share with your buddy stays with your buddy. Mochi never shares anything with anyone.
• Built for India. Hindi and Hinglish, Indian helplines and night shifts are part of the design, not afterthoughts.
• Safety over cleverness. When someone is struggling, the jokes stop.

Who makes Mochi
